UV Sterilisation is not new, and was discovered as far back as the later years of the 19th century. It was discovered to be a useful technology for cleaning infectious spaces, and more studies were done to determine the beneficial nature of UV for bacterial and viral sterilization. Since the 20th century, UV sterilization has been used to disinfect things like water and work surfaces. UV light is a shorter wavelength than visible light, and is able to penetrate and destroy the bodies of viruses and bacteria.
The use of UV sterilization, or ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, has been found to be extremely effective. Sources of UV sterilization can kill over 99% of viruses, bacteria, and fungi in an extremely short amount of time.

Hand held UVC SANITISING WAND
The UVC S-2 Wand Steriliser is suited to larger areas such as desk or table tops, lap-top computers or any surfaces where people may have contact and microorganisms can be transferred.
The Wand takes 3-minutes to eliminate 99.9% of microorganisms by emitting UVC through 20 LED lights and has an automatic shut-off mechanism.
The Wand also has an automatic cut-out if it is tilted towards the user in order to protect exposure to their eyes. It has a child lock for additional safety.
The Wand Steriliser comes with full operating and safety instructions and has a 12-month warranty.
It is important to remember that UV light can also be damaging to human beings – it is recommended that gloves are worn whilst using this product.

The UVC Mobile Multi-Box Steriliser is ideal for keeping everyday items such as tablets, smartphones, baby toys, cosmetics, small PPE and spectacles germ-free. Simply place the items into the Mobile Multi-Box and on closing the lid the UVC light eliminates 99.9% of microorganisms carried on the items surfaces within a 3-minute sterilisation cycle.
The device has two additional programs for deodorising and smart drying with temperature controls and timer settings. The Non-Contact Forehead thermometer is CE 1639 approved, manufactured in accordance with Class II EU Medical Device Directives 93/42 EEC. The thermometer gives reliable and accurate human temperature readings every time, automatically displaying “oral equivalent” temperatures, allowing the user to check adult and child forehead temperatures quickly with no-touch infrared technology for safety and hygiene.
This thermometer is quick, accurate and easy to use. Press power (on/mem) button to turn the instrument on, hold the instrument within 4 cm (40 mm) from the centre of the forehead and press and hold the ‘Start’ button until you hear one beep (unless muted) indicating the reading is complete. Readings should take approximately 1 second. The built-in fever alarm (three short beeps followed by one long beep) will sound whenever the oral equivalent temperature exceeds 37.5°C.
For the best and most accurate readings we recommend that you keep the forehead area clean. Foreheads that are sweaty, perspiring, covered with cosmetics, or have scar tissue can cause inaccurate readings. The person having their temperature checked, should have been in a stable environment for at least five minutes, and avoided exercising, bathing, or showering for 30 minutes (which can artificially raise your temperature), before taking forehead temperatures.
The bright, blue backlight ensures the display is easy to read, even in poorly lit areas. To ensure long battery life the thermometer will auto power-off after 60 seconds.
For added versatility, changing to surface mode will allow measuring the surface temperature of other common items to a maximum temperature of 80°C. The temperature range is switchable between °C and °F, to do this, go into power off mode, press and hold the ‘start’ button then press the power (on/mem) button for 3 seconds, °C will switch to °F. You can use the same process to switch back from °F to °C.
NOTE: when you switch between °C and °F the memory will be cleared. The Non-Contact Forehead thermometer stores your last 25 readings for easy recall and periodic monitoring.
